A practical look at what happens during a session, how we work with hosting locations, and what participants can expect from start to finish.
Sessions run approximately two hours. They are structured but flexible, and the trainer adjusts the pace based on how the group is progressing.
Participants introduce themselves and share what they hope to learn. The trainer explains the session structure and reassures everyone that questions are welcome at any point.
The trainer walks through each topic on a projected screen while participants follow along on their own devices. Steps are shown slowly and repeated where needed.
Participants attempt each task on their own device. The trainer moves through the group, providing individual assistance where needed. Nobody is left stuck without help.
The final portion of the session is reserved for questions. Participants can ask about anything that came up during the session or from their own banking experience.
Participants should bring the device they use or intend to use for banking: a smartphone or tablet. If you do not yet have a banking app installed, the trainer will help you find and install the correct one during the session.
It helps to know the name of your bank in advance, and ideally to have your bank card available in case you need to verify account details during setup. No prior digital experience is required or expected.
The location will have a projector or large screen, seating arranged so everyone can see, and reliable internet access. Printed materials are provided at the start of each session at no cost.

Know your bank name. Card optional but useful for setup.
Libraries, retirement homes, and community organizations can request a dedicated workshop session for their members or residents. We bring everything needed: the trainer, printed materials, and all supporting equipment.
The hosting organization provides a suitable room with seating for up to twelve participants, a projector or large screen, and a stable internet connection. Sessions are scheduled to fit your programme's timetable.
There is no cost to the hosting organization. Sessions are offered as part of Focus Point Media's community education programme. We welcome inquiries from any organization working with seniors in Zagreb and the surrounding region.
Inquire about hostingNo prior experience is necessary. If you can turn on your phone, that is enough to start. The trainer will help you from there.
Where possible, we use practice environments or sample accounts for demonstrations. When participants use their own accounts, we focus on read-only functions like checking balance and transaction history until they feel confident.

Sessions cover principles that apply across all Croatian banks. The trainer is familiar with the interfaces of major Croatian banking apps and can assist with any of them.
